February 15, 2008 -- Laurel Lake invites people 55 and older to join the News & Views current affairs discussion group, meeting Fridays at 1:30 p.m. in the Mixing Place II, 200 Laurel Lake Drive in Hudson.

News & Views is designed to promote balanced, lively discussion of foreign and domestic policy issues, helping people reach informed opinions on the important issues of our time. Topics are recommended by the group, and members are encouraged to provide newspaper and magazine clippings as background information.

Discussion is facilitated by Laurel Lake resident Joan Harris, retired Associate Dean of Faculty for Case Western Reserve University Medical School.
