Cleveland Wine School, Laurel Lake and Mimi Vanderhaven's Fabulous Buys to present Beer & Wine Tasting Garden at 2008 Taste of Hudson
July 17, 2008 – There will be more to savor than ever before at Taste of Hudson 2008, the two-day festival in Downtown Hudson on Labor Day Weekend, August 31 and September 1.
This year, Laurel Lake will partner with the Cleveland Wine School and Mimi Vanderhaven's Fabulous Buys to present an expanded Beer & Wine Tasting Garden (located on the patio of the Hudson Library & Historical Society) that's sure to be the hit of the show. Thousands of guests will sample more than 100 varieties of domestic and imported beer and wines, savor hors d'oeuvres prepared by Laurel Lake's culinary team, listen to live music and participate in wine education programs.
Taste of Hudson is returning for its 4th year to historic Downtown Hudson for a two-day celebration of food and fun. Sunday and Monday, August 31 and September 1, 2008 will be a Labor Day weekend to remember as you leisurely stroll amongst acres of delectable food, music, entertainment, fine arts, classic and antique cars and the great specialty and boutique shops and stores that make downtown Hudson such a unique experience.
The 2007 Taste of Hudson attracted 25,000 food and fun loving patrons and was one of the biggest and most successful events ever held in Hudson's long history. Co-presented by Summa Health System and Akron Children's Hospital, the Taste of Hudson benefits the Summit County Safe Kids Coalition, Leadership Hudson, and numerous area charities. Over $70,000 dollars has been donate to numerous charities by TOH.
