The
Laurel Lake Foundation The Foundation
provides opportunities for continuing education and training to ensure
that Laurel Lake staff are prepared to maintain the highest
standards of care. The Foundation has also enabled Laurel Lake to reach out to the
wider community, supporting the health care needs of low-income senior
adults in Greater Akron and funding programs that increase the quality
of life in our community. People support the Laurel Lake Foundation for a variety of reasons. Some give as an expression of gratefulness for the care of a loved one; others want to make a difference by supporting innovative programs and needed services; still others find charitable giving as an effective strategy to minimize taxes, increase income, and leave a legacy of compassion and caring for the needs of others.
