CONTACT Rock and Roll Night School "Spotlight on Aretha Franklin" at Laurel Lake

Soul: The Life and Music of Aretha Franklin," a weeklong
celebration from Oct. 31 to Nov. 5, will tell the story of the first
woman inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. In conjunction with
the Museum’s latest special exhibit, "Women Who Rock: Vision,
Passion, Power," the Museum will honor Franklin’s work and her
enduring influence with a series of special programs. On
Monday, October 31 at 7 p.m. Laurel Lake and University Circle will
present "Rock and Roll Night School: Spotlight on Aretha
Franklin" via interactive live video broadcast from the Rock
and Roll Hall of Fame. Rock Hall educators will examine the scope and
impact of Aretha Franklin's career, while focusing on select songs that
represent the diversity of her music. The
program is free and open
